Ribadao Wood Boutique began as a family dream in 1976, founded by Rogério and Odete Tavares in the heart of Portugal. With a deep love for nature and a shared passion for craftsmanship, the Tavares family built their business the only way they knew how, by working together, with purpose and pride.
From the beginning, Ribadao was more than a manufacturer. It was a vision: to transform spaces with the elegance of natural wood while staying connected to the land that inspired it. Raised alongside the company, the founders' two sons, Armando and Pedro Tavares, eventually took the reins, carrying forward the same commitment to nature, quality, and beauty that their parents instilled in them.
Over the decades, Ribadao has grown from a small family workshop in Viseu to a global boutique brand with operations across Europe, the Americas, and Africa. Our mission remains unchanged: to offer elegant, sustainably crafted wood flooring that brings the spirit of nature into every home.
